Woodward and Mane Lions Show returns Sunday after bye week

13

The Detroit Lions return to the gridiron Sunday afternoon against the Las Angeles Chargers after a bye week.

Our bye week is over as well, as The Woodward and Mane Street Lions Show returns. We will get you caught up on Lions issues at 8 a.m. Sunday. Woodward and Mane (get it? Lions have manes) is led by our quarterback, The Great Gabby also known as Gabrielle Dee Phillips, The Lefty Matt Broder and myself, plain old Terry Foster.

You can catch us on WoodwardSports.com or on the Woodward Sports YouTube channel every Lions game day and again every Tuesday at 7 a.m.

It is a fast-paced show about your Lions that gives insight, opinion, and goofy takes from me. I am like the crazy old uncle who lives in a closet while Gabby and Lefty try to settle me down and make the show more professional.

We gain a new audience every week, and we’d like for you to join us and goof around in our chat room while watching the show on your computer or smart phone.

Among our topics this week are:

Can the Lions lose after the bye week while the Chargers are on a short week coming off a Monday Night Game?

Can the Lions win, heading four time zones to the west as the Super Chargers enjoy home field advantage and a two-game winning streak?

Is quarterback Jared Goff underappreciated?

What Lions players must step up for the club to clinch the NFC North Division title?

And finally, do the hot Minnesota Vikings strike fear?

Our goal is not to sound like three old farts on the airwave. Rather, we want to have fun because we want you to have fun watching and listening to our show.
