DeBrincat’s Electric Start Continues with Hat-Trick in Red Wings’ 6-2 Win over Calgary

The Dynamic Duo of Alex DeBrincat and Dylan Larkin once again led the way for the Detroit Red Wings in their commanding 6-2 win over the Calgary Flames. DeBrincat and Larkin combined to contribute six points, with DeBrincat’s exceptional hat-trick to cap off what was another outstanding team performance by Detroit. The Cat’s prolific start to the season now places him at the forefront of the NHL’s goal-scoring ranks, with eight goals in a mere six games.

Alex alongside Red Wings’ Captain Dylan Larkin now sit atop the NHL in points.  If they can sustain this high level of play and energy night after night, alongside the budding talent of Lucas Raymond. This trio will undoubtedly continue to pose a significant threat for opposing teams around the NHL.

Detroit as a team now leads the NHL 30 goals in just six games, with a whopping goal differential of +15 on this five game win-streak.

Alex DeBrincat spoke with Bally Sports own Trevor Thompson post-game to discuss his hat-trick and the memorable moment he shared with his son Archie and his family, meanwhile how important it was for the Red Wings to come out of this weekend with four points against two quality teams in Ottawa and Calgary.

” Yeah, it was awesome, anytime I see him my face lights up. It’s just fun to be around him. I’m glad he could make it.  It was a  huge win. I think we are continuing to build confidence. We go into a tough building to play yesterday obviously take that one, then come back with some energy tonight. It’s always fun playing here in front of these fans and we’re trying to do our job.”
